Ontrak Systems Names Jim Kuhl Vice President Of Operations SAN JOSE, Calif., June 17, 1998 - OnTrak Systems, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lam Research Corporation (Nasdaq: LRCX), today announced the appointment of Jim Kuhl as vice president of operations. Kuhl will be responsible for the overall operations of the manufacturing and materials organization for OnTrak’s cleaning equipment product lines. He will report directly to Jerry Cutini, president of OnTrak.

Kuhl brings with him more than 15 years of direct experience in operations and manufacturing. Prior to joining OnTrak, he was vice president of operations at Adept Technology. His past accomplishments include a leading role streamlining the manufacturing operations at Motorola, which contributed to the company’s Malcolm Baldridge Award achievement.
