Lam Research Corporation Appoints Michael R. Cannon to Board of Directors
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lam Research Corporation (NASDAQ:LRCX) today announced that Michael R. Cannon has been elected to the company's board of directors effective today. Mr. Cannon retired from Dell Corporation after serving as Dell's president of global operations. Prior to his Dell experience, he was chief executive officer of Solectron, and president and CEO of Maxtor. His past management experience includes vice president roles at IBM storage systems division, AdStar, as well as Control Data Corporation and The Boeing Company.
Mr. Cannon is also on the boards of Adobe Systems, Seagate Technology, and the Elster Group.
