FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lam Research Corporation (NASDAQ: LRCX) today announced that Kim Perdikou has joined the company's board of directors. An accomplished technology executive with a proven track record driving innovation, Perdikou currently serves as executive vice president, Office of the CEO at Juniper Networks. In this role, she focuses on accelerating the company's growth strategy with an emphasis on deepening customer and partner relationships, and driving innovative solutions that disrupt the networking industry.

For more than 10 years, Perdikou has been with Juniper Networks, a networking technology leader that delivers software, silicon and systems that transform the experience and economics of networking. Before joining Juniper as chief information officer, she served as CIO at Women.com, and has been recognized as one of Computerworld Magazine's Premier 100 IT leaders. Perdikou holds two master's degrees: one in information systems from Pace University in New York and a second in education from Jordanhill College in Glasgow, Scotland, and a bachelor's degree in computing science and operational research from the University of Paisley in Scotland.
