- Combined technologies and workforce will help overcome scaling challenges
- Together we’ll help customers use next-generation substrate solutions
Today SEMSYSCO, a leading wet processing solutions company, announced that we have been acquired by Lam Research. We couldn’t be happier.
At SEMSYSCO our mission is to overcome challenges through creative solutions and dynamic collaboration. We pride ourselves on offering innovative products and outstanding customer service. That sounds a lot like Lam Research, too.
SEMSYSCO’s highly skilled and technical workforce has created a patented plating technology for large panels and a high-volume manufacturing platform for both panel cleans and panel plating.
Lam is best-in-class in many applications, including plating for advanced packaging. Since our product roadmap is geared heavily toward the plating side, Lam and SEMSYSCO are a natural fit. The combination allows Lam to expand beyond silicon wafer-based packaging into the substrate-based packaging market.
While SEMSYSCO will proudly join Lam our mission remains unchanged. Besides the natural synergies between our companies, including expanding Lam’s R&D footprint in Europe, Lam and SEMSYSCO employees can expand their technical skills and peer networks and discover new paths for career growth and development. We’re excited by these prospects.
By joining forces with Lam, customers will benefit from our combined ability to bring next-generation substrate solutions to market faster. Now, let’s prove it!
Herbert Oetzlinger co-founded SEMSYSCO in 2012 and is the company’s CEO. Herbert Schoeffmann joined SEMSYSCO in 2019 and serves as CFO.
