- Micron awarded Lam for exceptional performance in front-end equipment supply
- Lam core values and “customer first” mindset led to its recognition out of 8,000+ suppliers
Driving the news: Lam Research received Micron’s Outstanding Front End Equipment Supplier of the Year award at their Supplier Day event on November 13. Lam CEO Tim Archer accepted the award from Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra at the event.
Why it matters: Lam received the highest level of recognition out of more than 8,000 Micron suppliers. Lam was among an elite group of 14 suppliers recognized across a range of areas (such as Equipment, Materials, Spares, Construction, IT, and Facilities).
This is the third time Lam has received recognition from Micron.
Why we won: Lam's collaborative approach drove yield and equipment performance improvements for advanced NAND and DRAM nodes at Micron. Lam also provided comprehensive support for cost and technology workshops with active participation from global and local subject matter experts.
Shaheen Dayal, Lam account general manager, Micron Global Account, says we couldn’t have achieved this recognition without everyone’s relentless focus throughout the year on Micron’s priorities.
“The award is a testament to Lam’s ‘customer first’ mindset and modeling of our core values of achievement, teamwork, innovation, and agility,” Shaheen says.
