Lam Research has been recognized by Fortune as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies for the eighth consecutive year.
Why it matters: The annual survey recognizes the world’s largest companies with the strongest reputation within and across industries.

How the list is compiled: To determine the most admired companies, Fortune partnered with Korn Ferry who polled executives, directors, and analysts to rate firms in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. A company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry survey to be listed.
Zoom out: In addition to being named a World’s Most Admired Company by Fortune, Lam has received several other honors this year, including a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, recognition on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index North America, and being named a finalist for the 2025 Edison Best New Product Awards™.
