Driving the news: JUST Capital, an independent nonprofit organization, along with CNBC, a leader in business news, named Lam to the top 50 of its annual JUST 100 list.  We are proud to be ranked #32 out of 937 overall and #6 out of 34 in the semiconductor industry.

  • The list measure how the U.S.’s largest corporations are performing on the business issues that matter most to citizens, including paying a fair, living wage; giving back to and engaging with local communities; supporting workforce retention and training; providing benefits and work-life balance; protecting customer privacy; and minimizing environmental impact.

Catch up quick: Lam debuted in the top 100 list in 2023 at #95 out of 951 total companies ranked and #6 out of 35 semiconductor and equipment companies.

Why it matters: JUST Capital’s research shows that just companies – those that excel in the areas listed above, are better businesses. The JUST rankings reveal which companies are doing the best job of creating value for their stakeholders and consistently show that the companies that score best also outperform their peers financially.

How the rankings are determined: Since 2015, JUST Capital has surveyed more than 170,000 Americans on what issues they believe U.S. companies should prioritize when it comes to just business behavior. Those issues become the foundation by which Just Capital tracks, analyzes, and incentivizes corporate behavior change. JUST evaluated 937 companies across five stakeholders, 20 issues, and 236 raw data points to produce the 2024 rankings.
